Big mauruuru to my family for allowing me to share our families personal collection of Polynesian/Tahitian pieces.
All around Mananui you will find authentic artifacts from Tahiti all dating back to the 1950's. The tapa cloth behind the tiki bar, the hand carved tikis and drums inside and outside of Mananui to name a few. Performing as the "Regal Tahitians" they traveled all over the world entertaining our US Troops overseas and throughout the U.S. during the late 1950's thru the early 1970's. One of our family members "Ton Ton (Uncle) Timi Turi" also had the honor of being in the original line up at the Tahitian Terrace at Disneyland in 1962 and can be seen on youtube doing his Tahitian Fire Walk.
